Why Tagalog Lessons Don’t Have to be Painful

Why Tagalog Lessons Don’t Have to be Painful
I know that many of you may be holding back from learning Tagalog because you’re afraid it will consist of long hours of focusing on boring grammar rules. And you may be afraid that it won’t be useful for a long time, because there’s so much to learn. Well don’t worry, that’s not how it has to be.

Beach in the Philippines
So you can relax and enjoy all of the beauty our wonderful country has to offer.

Filipino language and Tagalog are at least for the purpose of this blog interchangeable And since my teaching process is the same, regardless of what term you want to use, I will be using both terms in this blog as well.
Many teachers focus on grammar rules. And while I realize that some grammar rules are important, I find it’s much better for my students if they learn conversational Tagalog.
This is why I focus on Filipino lessons that will prepare my student to go out and use their new language in the real world. It’s a lot more fun. And a lot more useful. The whole goal of your learning is to help you have a better life, not memorize things you may never use. And there are so many ways Filipino language lessons can help you and improve your life.
Most Filipinos are friendly and kind, and they will often go out of their way to help a foreigner. They typifically have a great sense of humor too. Which is often referred to as being jolly. And while most Filipinos speak at least some English (it is after all, an official language of the Philippines) it is always appreciated when a foreigner speaks to them in the native language of the Philippines.
I know everyone has their own reasons for wanting to learn to speak Filipino. Some of my students want to be closer to a loved one. And I can tell you from my own experience that there are not many ways to show your girlfriend, wife, boyfriend or husband that you care about them more, than to make the effort to learn how to talk to them in their native tongue. I have actually had students take months of lessons in secret, and then surprise their girlfriend by talking to them in Filipino. What a wonderful surprise it was! And an amazing reason to learn Filipino!
Other students wish to learn Tagalog because they are moving to the Philippines, and they realize knowing the language will help them in their day to day life. As mentioned, English is widely spoken in the Philippines, but it can still sometimes be difficult to communicate without knowing Filipino.
If you are in Manila, it’s easier to get by speaking only English, but if you go into the more rural areas (we refer to these areas of the Philippines as the Province) it will be significantly harder to communicate if you don’t know how to speak Tagalog.
Also, as you can probably imagine, there’s a strong correlation between level of education and English proficiency. In other words, you shouldn’t have a hard time communicating with your doctor or dentist in English. But you might have a problem telling your taxicab driver how to get to the doctor’s office. It will also make it much easier in situations as negotiating prices in street markets or the fare with a tricycle driver, if you know how to speak Tagalog.
And if my student wishes to learn about the culture of the Philippines, I’m more than happy to help them with that as well. Because I believe that fitting in isn’t just about learning Tagalog. It’s about understanding the local culture. What is considered polite. And what is considered impolite. And understanding Tagalog slang and idioms. And knowing what’s important to Filipinos. And what is important to know if you are in the Philippines.

Public Market in the Philippines.
Public Market in the Philippines.

In summary, I believe it’s much more important to teach my students what they need to best function in day to day situations. And how to speak and understand Tagalog as quickly as possible. In my career I’ve had the privilege of teaching students from over two dozen different countries. This experience has helped me become a better language teacher. And give me the confidence in knowing that if you wish to learn to speak Filipino, I can help you too.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions, or to schedule a free 30 minute introductory lesson.

YESTERDAY HURTS TODAY JULY 15, 2019

Many people struggle with the weight of past painful experiences and traumas. When things in the past remain in your mind unsettled, it can be extremely difficult to move wholly onward and impossible to not have those hurts impact today. Healing can occur when our beliefs about past hurts shift to a healthier viewpoint.
If your life experiences include childhood trauma, for example, you may hold the negative beliefs that you are not good enough and/or you are not loveable both which generate from that trauma. These deeply held beliefs can show up for you today through feelings of insecurity in relationships and in your career goals. You may unwittingly focus on all of the evidence in your life that continues to support these negative beliefs, thus, the beliefs must be true. If you argue with your partner and separate — Proof you are not loveable. If you experience career setbacks — Proof you are not good enough.
While we can never change what has happened, and accepting this can take time, a healthy response you are free to choose is to embrace healing so you can move onward. Oftentimes with childhood trauma for instance, you may hold shame and gently can begin to understand that you were a child, and, by that definition, are harmless. This understanding never lets perpetrators off the hook nor does it minimize what has happened. It can, however, empower you, who continues to suffer today, to intentionally shift the beliefs you hold about these past experiences. Shifting your beliefs has nothing to do with others; it is all for you.
One powerful and extensively researched therapy technique that can help shift these negative beliefs is Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). The primary goal of EMDR is to help alleviate the suffering you feel today because of those past experiences. EMDR can be described in many ways as a “brain massage” because it allows your brain to release blocked feelings in a way that it likely has never before. At its’ core, EMDR utilizes left-right simulation, and as an EMDR trained therapist, the simulation I use is moving my fingers on one hand from side-to-side in front of you. As your eyes follow my fingers back and forth, you hold a traumatic memory and simply notice your response to it. Every so often I ask what you notice until the distressful memory is no longer as distressing because your thoughts and feelings about it begin and continue to shift. Oftentimes, clients explain they feel anger from past experiences, and EMDR uncovers deep sadness which can be surprising to many.
Truly, our goals with the therapeutic process include accepting what has happened and choosing a healthy response. This process can look different depending on both the therapist and the techniques used, and EMDR is one of those techniques that I see the healing power in everyday with my clients.

Effects of global warming

At present, effects of global warming the development of colorful glasses in the progression of the horse has been read. But the unfriendly development is diminishing the dimension, knowing that people do not want to understand. So the earth's temperature is increasing. It has a bad name global warming .

What is the global warming and how?

Global warming means that worldwide temperature increasing day by day.Global warming is having a measurable effect on the planet. The effects of greenhouse gases, ozone-level degradation, deforestation, etc. are increasing in the atmosphere. Greenhouse gases are a gas composed of carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide. The gas is damaged by the environment. Heat coming from the sun heats the surface of the earth and most of the radiated thermodyps return to the atmosphere. But due to man-made pollution and deforestation, the amount of greenhouse gas in the atmosphere has increased greatly. As a result, the radiated thermal power is interrupted by the return of the atmosphere, and thus the atmospheric temperature increases. The biggest reason for climate change is the increase in global warming .

Temperature & temperature extremes average is increasing.

According to NASA & NOAA June records 2019 was worldwide hottest year & Earth average temperatures was 2.08 degree Celsius above the 1980-2015 average temperatures.

Statistics

Scientists have researched that the ratio of the past 100 years has proved that this temperature is increasing gradually. Where the temperature was nearly constant for the last nearly 8000 years. Scientists further said that in the past 100 years, the temperature of the Earth increased by 0.5 degree centigrade. They said, in the next thirty years, the surface temperature of the surface will be 1.5 degrees to 2.0 degrees centigrade. Scientists estimate that by 2100, there could be an increase of 1.8 degree centigrade to 6.3 degree centigrade.

Causes of global warming:

The main reason for rising temperature rise is man. Yes, we are pushing civilization in the face of destruction. We are calling ourselves losses in the way of industrial, urbanization, progress and progress.

The consequences of the increase in greenhouse gases and the ozone level of damage are-

  • Increasing the amount of fossil fuel consumption in factories, vehicles and electricity production is also jumping on the amount of carbon dioxide emissions.
  • Toxic black smoke, tannery waste, jet airplane, rocket launchers of factories - nitrous oxide, nitrogen oxides, sulfur particles produced from these, which are harmful.
  • Chlorofluorocarbons used in air conditioners, foam industry, plastics industries etc. are one of the reasons for the loss of ozone level.

  • Increasing the amount of methane gas from plant waste, agricultural waste and animal waste waste. The biggest reason behind the global warming is the deforestation. The ability to absorb atmospheric carbon dioxide is reduced due to the cutting of trees.

    Impact:

As a result of the above reasons, the atmospheric temperature increases. Changes in the weather are happening. Increasing the atmospheric temperature increases the average temperature of the Earth. According to statistics due to this warming, the warmth of the world has increased most in the last century than in the last 20000 years. As the average temperature increase, the equatorial and polar regions are increasing rapidly. Scientists estimate, in more than 100 years, all ice in the summer will be turned into water in summer. After the 1970s, the level of ice in the northern ocean was reduced by about 27%. With this growing warmth, melting ice in the equatorial and polar regions melts and the sea level of the sea increases by 30-40 centimeters. This means that a large part of the coastal area of the world is likely to sink under the sea. As the water level increases mosquitoes grow. The incidence of diseases like malaria, Goda, cholera dengue etc. is increasing. More different diseases will return, new diseases will occur. Biodiversity will also be destroyed, crop loss, naturally forests will be destroyed, wildlife will also decrease, drinking water infections, human habeat crisis will occur, food will increase sharply, there will be erosion, and there will be floods in some places, famine, epidemic, food strain Will be. The socio-economic and political problems of the world will grow together. Continuing to destroy civilization.

    Control:

Almost in the face of the destruction of human civilization. With this, the pressure from environmentalists and international sectors is increasing, to solve the problems. Tribunal, Green Benches etc. have been formed. Some quick solutions are also fixed.

    Such as:

    • Fossil fuel consumption will be reduced in the factory.
    • In agriculture, the use of chemical fertilizers will be reduced.
    • Control the sources of methane gas emissions.
    • To reduce the use of fossil fuel, the non-conventional energy will be introduced.
Tree is one of the main ways of our survival. Plans to develop forests have to be implemented. Powerful housing will be developed. It also needs real implementation of environmental protection agreements. Use of alternative and environmentally friendly products.

    Conclusion:

Our duty to protect the environment is our duty. We will survive only if we survive our survival. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the people to handle the harmful elements that are causing the global warming, which are less generous.

Alaska hit with record high temperatures Wave Fuels Wildfires & Dangerous Smoke, Melts Glaciers

    Google||2.5 MIN to read .
Alaska's heat wave is driving wildfires and melting glaciers, choking the state’s biggest cities with smoke and bloating rivers with meltwater. In Anchorage, home to about 40 percent of Alaskans, the National Weather Service issued a dense smoke advisory on Sunday warning against prolonged outdoor activity, along with advisories for the elderly and the sick to stay indoors. The Swan Lake wildfire in the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge, which has burned since a June 5 lightning strike and consumed more than 68,000 acres, prompted the National Weather Service to issue a dense smoke advisory. March 2019 began with an unsettled weather pattern that brought warm, wet storms to the state, according to the Alaska Climate Research Center. By mid-month, a high-pressure ridge developed and stayed in place for weeks, producing mostly clear skies and very warm temperatures. The average temperature for March 2019 set records at 10 of 19 ground-based weather stations in Alaska. Utqiaġvik (Barrow)—the northernmost town in the United States—saw its hottest March in more than 100 years. The town’s average high temperature in March is usually -12.6 degrees Fahrenheit (-24.7° Celsius). But in March 2019, the temperature averaged 5.9° Fahrenheit. Delta Junction, Fairbanks, and many towns broke temperature records. (You can see a list here.) The “warm” month in Utqiaġvik did not mean it was a dry month. In March 2019, the town received more than four times the normal amount of rain and twice the amount of snow. Alaska Division of Forestry/Handout via REUTERS "This very warm weather, on top of the warm May, the very early snowmelt, then we had those two weeks of lightning strikes, it’s the classic setup," Thoman said. Melting glaciers and mountain snowfields are bloating rivers and streams across a large swath of south central Alaska, the NWS said. The melt has brought water levels to flood stage at the Yentna River northwest of Anchorage on Sunday, said NWS forecaster Bob Clay.

"Certainly, for instance, above-normal temperatures in Cook Inlet right now are contributing to the very warm temperature that are being reported from Anchorage International," Thoman said. "If it had been a cold spring and a cool June and water temperatures were cooler, exactly the same kind of atmosphere pattern may well not produce record temperatures."

Trump Holds Off On More China Tariffs; 2 Sides Agree To Restart Trade Talks

President Trump announced the trade truce after an 80-minute meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the Group of 20 summit in Osaka, Japan. "Basically we agreed today that we're going to continue the negotiation," Trump told reporters Saturday. "We're going to work with China on where we left off to see if we can make a deal." In exchange, Trump said China had agreed to increase its purchases of U.S. agricultural products. The U.S. and China have agreed to restart trade talks, and the Trump administration will hold off for now adding new and costly tariffs on some $300 billion in Chinese imports. "We're holding on tariffs, and they're going to buy farm product," Trump said. The temporary cease-fire does not end the trade war between the U.S. and China. The Trump administration is still charging 25% tariffs on some $250 billion worth of goods imported from China. Xi's government has retaliated by taxing U.S. exports, while at the same time reducing tariffs on competing products from other countries. Those tariffs will remain in place while the U.S. tries to broker a trade deal with China that offers more protection for intellectual property and prevents the forced transfer of American technological know-how. The Trump administration thought it was approaching such a deal until last month, when China balked at provisions the administration believed were already settled. Still, the president says he's cautiously optimistic that a comprehensive agreement is still possible. "They would like to make a deal, I can tell you that," Trump said. "If we could make a deal, it would be a very historic event." The president said for now, he will allow U.S. tech companies to keep supplying components to the Chinese telecom giant Huawei. National security experts worry the company, which makes cellphones and telecom equipment, could become a conduit for surveillance by the Chinese government. The president said Huawei's future business with the U.S. will be left for later in the negotiations. "Huawei is a complicated situation," Trump said. "We agreed to leave that to the end." Xi also cheered the trade truce, which avoids putting greater pressure on Chinese exports. Trade was a dominant topic for Trump throughout the G-20 meeting. He raised it repeatedly during meetings with individual foreign leaders, including Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The president boasted of big trade deals that are in the works, but he offered no details. Trump has not hesitated to impose protectionist measures. In addition to the China tariffs, he's slapped import taxes on foreign steel and aluminum, washing machines and solar panels. The G-20 traditionally issues a formal statement opposing protectionism. The Trump administration warned before the summit it would not sign on to the statement if that warning — or another about the dangers of human-made climate change — were too strongly worded. Although Trump's stance on climate puts him at odds with the rest of the G-20 leaders, he insisted he's not turning a blind eye to the hazards of a warming planet. "I'm not looking to put our companies out of business," Trump said. "The powering of a plant — it doesn't always work with a windmill."

13 effective tips for attract visitor to blog

Attention can be useful to read
Creating blogs that attract readers to the goal of each blogger

We all know that we will not be able to write a blog post alone. Our blog should have visitors who can read and use the content.

How does the blog attract readers?

Wordpress.com has 73.9 million posts in just one month (December 2016, according to the report).

Thankfully, we can do a lot more to come back to the audience. We can write long content, associate that content with social media, can promote our blog, provide unique features, etc.

In the latest blog post, we are giving some tips on how to increase blog visit:

Expert tips for increasing blog readership

    A good picture
"How do you increase your blog readers / visitors?"

Answer: There were many thoughts. When I travel online to learn about anything or anything, I have learned many useful tips. Manage blogs by following the rules below

    1. To create a standard blog first, you need to find a specific category
For a moment, if you have created a blog, there is no specific category, so people will not attract any attention to your blog. So, first of all, you have to create a blog on any topic!

    2. Think chests will give visitors the best of all time, letting them know about a new one

3 Never try to deceive. Think of a post tight. One more post. Avoid this hype; it will be a major hindrance to the popularity of your blogger site.

4 Write a post with a few days that is useful to everyone. Keep in mind that if a user receives something good from your site, then he will be again. You will find good things to come

    5. Do not give any brief explanation that your published articles will be for hundreds of years and write accordingly

    • Take a little time to write your story tactics or posts to attract your readers.

7 I've got Adsense today, I do not want to keep $ 5-6 in mind
This will disable your adsense, of course
On the day you see that 2000+ posts are completed, then you will get 300+ widgets and automatic ranking will get the same number of content.

    8. Avoid Copyright You have posted a post that has not been rated yet it will not rank in the post
Article must write more than 500 words. Because the higher the writing, Rank is as easy as it is.

    9. Your Main Keyword article has to be titled Title, Description, Meta Tag, Body. Do not miss the main keyword once more in Title, Description and Meta tags. It is more likely to cause spamming.

    10. The article will definitely give pictures, which will give your targeted keyword in Title, Description and ALT tag.

    11. Try Keyword density 2-3% in Article Body.
Your On Page SEO work is almost done, let's start off Off Page SEO.

    12. Go to the Google webmaster tool manually link submit / index.

    13. Share as much as Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and LinkedIn

Inshallah, you can easily get success by applying these trips well
