Technology Conference for Prosperity 'will start from March 19 to 21 in the three-day International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB), the country's IT-enabled exhibition, BASIS SoftExpo2019. Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) organizes the 15th software fairs organized by Software Manufacturers Association in Bangladesh.
The BASIS authorities organized a press conference in the BASIS auditorium on Saturday to organize the fair. BASIS President Almas Kabir, Senior Vice President and Convener of BASIS SoftExpo2019, Farhana A Rahman, Vice President (Administration) Shoaib Ahmed Masud and Vice President (Finance) Mushfiqur Rahman were present at the press conference.

Fairhana A Rahman, convenor of the fair, said, "The exhibition will showcase about 250 local and foreign technology companies in the largest exhibition of BASIS. There will also be software services exhibition zones, innovative mobile service zones, digital commerce zones, ITES and BPO zones, such as Women Zone, VAT Zone, Digital Education Zone, Phintek Zone and more. There will be more than 30 information and communication technology seminars, where more than 100 local-foreign information and communication technology experts will speak.
There will be B-2B Matchmaking session for local and foreign traders, through which traders can easily expand their business. The corporate house will be organized, where more than 500 corporate high official will take part. For the students, there will be many information related to IT.
BASIS President Syed Almas Kabir said the expo was organized to increase the services of country's software companies. The aim of the exhibition is to showcase the competence and trust of the country's software to meet its own needs. This is the biggest software fair in South Asia.
Farhana A Rahman said, "Our IT sector is going forward so that the vision of Digital Bangladesh is being implemented. By organizing this we will showcase the potential of Bangladesh's IT sector. In this year we got a lot of response from all over the country. Many aspirants are still coming to the country, speakers from country and abroad will also come. Women Zone will be available for women entrepreneurs. Students will have the facility of submitting CV for each stall.
